ACCELERATION GETTING "ROUGH". AC NOT WORKING. HARD START. DIAGNOSIS?

Oil changed regularly, and level is fine. AC motor makes a wretched grinding noise when AC switch or defrost is engaged. No cool air from vents during AC engagement.

Idling very rough. Hesitation during acceleration from stop. Slight hesitation during acceleration while moving. "Sensor " on exhaust port at front of engine would smoke after engine ran.

Do you have a check engine light and when was the last tune-up?

Start by cleaning the idle air control valve and the MAF sensor, also check exhaust system for restriction-For the AC check the high and low pressure-could be low/no freon in it-start here

It sounds like it could be a valve that is burned or a cam that is going flat.
