I was just driving my Skoda Fabia 1.9 TDi X reg, and the power steering went twice on a short 5 mile journey. Also the illuminating light behind the gauges flickered. The glow plug light has been on for a couple of months and I was going to take it in for that as soon as I got the chance, but the car starts first time, every time. Any ideas as to the cause of the loss of power steering and the cost that I might incur fixing it?
