I know it had a bad wire on it also, i'm not sure if that has anything to do with it or not.

The wire melted to the exhaust manifold?Thats probably because of the wire.

Usually the plastic clip that holds the wire to the fan shroud breaks or comes unclip and it burns on the manifold. Make sure you route wire correctly and zip tie the wire to the shroud if you have to. So that it wont happen again.

Ok! The bad wire was on the o2 sensor side, thanks for the tips.

Your welcome they dont get damaged if the wire is routed and secured properly.
