I've got a little over 2 hundred thousand miles on my 99 saturn SC2 and I don't know if it still has the original clutch or not. But either way this problem has slowly gotten worse. I have to slam the shifter to get it to go into place or out of gear. It feels like it goes half way in gear and then get "hung up" in something. All the fluids are good we have replaced the linkage bushings. Please help me. :-(

It's fine. That's one thing that hasn't given me any problems.

Alright if thats good and its hard to get into every gear then most likely you have a bad clutch pressure plate. You would have to get in there see what it looks like.
