New alternator fitted why does battery light stay on the dashboard
Just recent new alternator fitted but the battery light is staying on i have checked connections all ok is there anything else i can do ,because if i leave this vehicle 1 to 2 days the battery will be totally flat ,plus the battery was renewed 2 weeks ago ,i dont want to damage the battery by jump starting all the time

did you check the fuses??
what is the voltage at the battery with the motor running??
is it new or used??
