Two issues with 99 Sunfire.

1. Blower motor does not run. However, if I slowly move the blower switch between setting it will run when in between the two speeds. So is this a blower switch issue or the blower motor resistor or possibly both? When I go between the speed low to high the speed of the blower does change but does not run in the normal 1, 2, 3, 4 settings. Only in between.

2. Rear Defrost does not defrost. I inspected the tabs and wire and they are intact as well as the grid. I do not see any breaks. I can push the defrost button and it acts like it turns on but does not defrost. Not sure where to begin to trouble shooting.

I can help with the second problem. Start by turning the defroster switch on, then test on the terminals on the rear glass for voltage. One should have 12 volts and one should have 0 volts. We'll know by those measurements where to go next.
