When the car is cold, stopping, and upon a hard right turn (such as coming to an intersection and needing to turn right), a loud pop is made that happens only once. After the car is warm, the sound does not occur. It is an automatic with a 3.8 (?) V6. The car has never been wrecked or had any kind of collision.
