Module replacement

"THE BRAIN"POWER MODULE ON MY 99 PLYMOUTH GRAND VOYAGER SE. 3.3 LITER GAS ENG. V-6 - PART# P0427246AD HAS DIED. i NEED ANOTHER ON BUT DONT WANT TO PAY HUNDREDS OF $$$ FOR ONE. HELP! IF I GET A USED ON WILL I NEED TO HAVE IT REGROGRAMED FOR MY VIN#"

You can get a used one. However, it has to have the same exact part number. If you get a different one, it won't work. As far as reprograming, it shouldn't need it. Just make sure the battery is disconnected until you have the new one installed and plugged in. Then you can reconnect power.
