1999 Plymouth Breeze Repair Question

The heater in my car does not heat up like it should

My 1999 Plymouth breeze has no heat,i changed the thermostat and made sure that it is full of anti-freeze but it barely warms up according to the temp gauge

could be a clogged heater core, air in the system or a bad head gasket.

the cable operating the blend door could also be an issue.

Thank you for your reply,could you tell me how i would know if i have a bad head gasket?i am purchasing this car from Superior auto i bought it as is,i am really concerned about the money i will have to put in it,But i needed a car desperately.any tips on how i can tell if i have a bad head gasket?Thank you.

a shop can inject air into the cylinders and see if there is any leakage into the cooling system. 1 hour in labor.
