1999 Oldsmobile Intrigue CAM Shaft Sensor

I replaced a Crank shaft sensor in my car 2 months ago and now it is throwing a code that the cam shaft sensor needs replaced. The car has trouble starting occasionally It is not every time just once every couple of weeks.

No, it is not telling you that the Cam sensor needs replaced. It is telling you that it recorded a problem with the Cam sensor circuit and the issue needs to be diagnosed to determine the actual cause. It could be a problem with the sensor itself, any related wiring, the PCM or a mechanical issue.
