Olds 3.4 starts and idels fine , put in gear and excelarte it misfires......
1999 olds alero 3.4 starts and idles fine , put in gear and excellarte it misfires......If u push the gas to the floor it will slow down but when you let off it will pick up speed. When it quits you have to let it sel for about an hour and it might start back up, if so it will miss and shake then it will smooth out but you cant give it gas if u do it will backfire.

What's the mileage? What ignition components have been changed and when. Have the codes read and post the code numbers here.
