Nissan Pathfinder Sensor Problem

1999 Nissan Pathfinder 4 x 4- 3.3 liter v6 automatic...Car idles rough, on acceleration runs quite well, but, when cruising at a steady pace no matter what speed, for 10-15 seconds car revs a little approx. 150 rpms then completely cuts out. No saving by giving gas just blam, quits. but then starts right back up. Any ideas ?

Such symptoms are definitely dificult to diagnose but if it cuts off completely, it most probably is electrical.
Are there any trouble codes?
When it cuts, off, were the dash indicator lights showing then>
Any of the accessories malfunctioned then?

There isn't much of a change, other than the headlights dimming a bit. It was throwing a MAF sensor code. So I replaced the MAF then it started throwing MAP sensor code. So ????
