How to remove the shift. cylinoide wire harness from 2.4 automatic transmission

Ok I have the value body an the cylinoides removedbut I can't figure out how to take the wire off the tran. Any help will be greatfull

You need to remove the sound cover, item # 12 in diagram, which is clipped on.

The pic are the shift solenoid pack connected by the wire that goes through the trans case to the out Sid of the trans

In the diagram, look for locking tabs around the area I have circled.Use a fine screw driver to prush against the tabs and oush the wire into the transmission housing. It has to be removed from inside housing. Of course you have to unplug the wire connector on top of transmission.
