1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse Repair Question

Mitsubishi eclipse engine swap
I put a 95 eclipse 2.0 non turbo engine in a 99 eclipse. I used the ecu and wiring harness from the 95. The car runs but it seems to be lacking power and sputters or misses when you give it throttle. Is there anything different about the fuel systems? Or what could be the problem?

Hesitation are mostly due to misfiring and the ignition system is more likely to be the cause. HAve the sppark plugs, ignition coils and related components checked.
