1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse engine replacement

Ok here's the question.

I have a eclipse 2.0 with a blown motor. I'm a bit tired of swapping it with the same hunk of junk.

now what I want to know is swapping it with a 2.4L non turbo, what all do I need too complete the swap.

What year is the 2.4? If it'a prior to 95 then don't do it. If it fits then it shold be ok depending on whetehr it was stick or auto the one you are putting in

The 2.4L is a 1998 model. And I have a 1999 eclipse. I know its only a year difference but I just have to be sure so I don't have to go through so many changes.

Just check to make sure all your connectors will fit otherwise you'll have to use the old sensors and make sure there are no added ones if there are it won't work. You can use your computer it won't make a big difference.
