1999 Mercury Marquis Repair Question

My battery light on a 1999 grand Marquis comes one and then goes off. I've had the battery and alternator check. they are both OK.
The battery and alternator have been checked and they are ok.

it may test ok with a voltmeter but if there is a failing diode in the alternator, then it is bad. i would look harder at the alternator.
