1999 Mercedes Benz ML320 about to snap

My truck will start for 3 sec then shut off and a wrench comes up with a code that reads 39600 can someone please help me out

Are you sure that you have the correct code number? I have never seen or heard of that one. How are you retrieveing that code?It sounds like a security issue to me, are very any security lights on or flashing?
