Wiper problem on 99 Lincoln TC

I recently purchased a 1999 Lincoln Town Car. Everything works fine except for the wipers when the weather is very cold. They work fine when the temps are above freezing and once the car warms up, but if it sits overnight in the cold, no wipers again. Can you help?

Clean your battery terminals and make sure you have a good ground going from battery to body and engine to battery. You may need to clean the ground on the wiper motor as well. It usually will be by the cover.
