HEATER CORE

1999 Lincoln Navigator • 120,000 miles

The heater core in our Navigator has went out. We got a quote to have it replaced it is $1,330-$1,580 and the core its self is only $40! My husband would like to do this job himself. Could you please tell me how to do it? Thank you! Oh and its a 2wd not a 4wd thank you!

This off alldata. Not a job for home, at least thats what I think. I would shop around for a better price as the dealer is extremely high.

CJ will have info as well. If you do it yourself, it will take about 12-16 hours. Even though the part is 40, the labor is intensive.
