Lexus RX 300 Tailgate Problem
The latch for the rear door(tailgate) does not work,(it just flaps up and down so he tailgate remains locked. The remote does not open it.
Is there a manual opener in the car? I can't find one. If not, what can I do to open the rear door? .

There is no manual lever. You would need to remove the tailgate panel from withint vehicle to get to the latch. Seems something is dislodged or the latch is faulty.
