I'm stranded in South Africa mountains and my defender acts like it has no gas and always stalls as if it is running out of gas . When I finally get it to start again engine seems to run good and have good power...But car shortly after stalls again.
It's a 4cylinder diesel. What could it be? Fuel filter?
Is there something I can check myself ? There are no mechanics here anywhere ? Can you let me know where the fuel filter is? I just bought the car and maybe fuel tank was dirty and old and plugged the fuel filter?
