1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee set the timing

Need to verify that timing chain hasn't jumped

Check compression if it did all the cylinders will be low on compression. If you have a distributor then bringup to #1 and see where rotor is pointing whether to #1 or not. Otherwise you will have ot brign to #1 and see if any valves are open on number 1
