Overheating

Jaguar xj8 1999 3.2.engine will overheat after about half a mile.water bubbling out of expansion tank.car runs and sounds fine otherwise.help thanks.

Try replacing the thermostat and flushing the cooling system. Make sure you have a 50/50 mix of water and coolant.
