COULD A FRONT END COLLISION CAUSE PROBLEMS WITH THE TORQUE CONVERTER?

1999 GMC Suburban • 70,000 miles

Vehicle runs fine but intermittenly has hesitation when first accelerating and sometimes in reverse. When accelerating, it acts like it want to die. I was told it may be the torque converter. Vehicle was in a front end collision in February 2011 and I'm trying to figure out if this is related to my accident.

Could be a transmission problem and also the following MAP, TPS sensors and fuel pressure

So are you saying this mostly likely is not related to a collision but more likely maintainence?
