1999 Ford Windstar want start

When I try to start car it starts to crank then stops and makes a sound like rummm like nothing cranking so I put spark plug and spark plug wire still the same thing can u plz help

Check battery for condition including load test autoparts do for free

Did that they said it was bad but also said to them it sounded like it was flywheel smoothed out or ingnition not going in gear any sujestions like I saidIit will crank for 2 sec then ummmmmm sound hard to explain thanks to all but I dont want to buy a 100 battery if flywheel is bad kno what I mean

You have to fix the battery first if it's bad THEN the flywheel also reset your antirtheft when youreplacebattery
