The only thing you can do is remove the tank, purchase a spool of steel fuel line and replace it. It isn't a fun job, but that is what needs done. Chances are you won't be able to purchase the factory part anymore. If you can, get it! It will make your life much easier.

Looking for the fuel line in the engine. Would like to have a diagram of where it is in the engine if possible.

I don't have a diagram for the fuel line. However, it just attaches to the fuel rail. What specifically do you need to know?

There are no such pictures. You slide that tool up the line and it releases the lock clip inside.

How much should it cost to have the fuel line replaced, it didn't pass inspection?

If you are replacing from the tank up to the fuel rail, around 30.00 in material (unless you replace the fuel filter which I recommend). The labor is where the problem is. The fuel tank needs removed to access all of the steel line. I would estimate around 4 hours in labor x hourly rate.

I bought a 95 ranger with a smashed windsheild and a bent down roof. I own another ranger with a good cab I have been told changing out cabs is easy (comparatively) and its only 6 bolts one wiring harness radiator hoses and ac lines. Other people have told me its more involved with steering components and brake lines fuel lines and more.

The "other people" are correct. It is more involved. You will need to remove everything from the firewall.
