An error has occurred in the control system and you need to get the trouble codes to find out what could be wrong.

Control system means the TCM/PCM etc.

If your code reader has the capabilities, you can plug it in to get the code otherwise you need a scan tool that can do it.

I would not waste my time feeling in the dark looking for a needle in a haystack, get myself a scan done to check for trouble codes.
Most scan tool would work but code readers might not.

First thing is why did you eplace the sensor? Did you get any trouble code?
For the speedometer and tachometer not working, have you checked for trouble codes?
