Ford Explorer Starter Problem

Replaced starter and batterey, cause of problem starting. Ran good for 9 months, today, it wouldn't start again. My sister ins service, sent a person with portable charger. Vehicle no start, man said it was the starter, i took starter off, Monument checked it, said, unit is good. Next, got batterey charged, still won't start. Would the ignition module, alternator have something too do with this problem?
