I have a it was driving great then the engine started sputtering (mis-ideling), then the service engine soon light comes on. driving back home it started getting hot yet didn't over heat it got up to 3/4 hot! i looked at the engine an

Have it checked for fault codes with a scan tool. are there any warning lights on the dash? have you refilled with dodgy fuel perhaps?

Please post the exact code numbers you have take it to a auto parts store and have them scan it for codes.Write the code numbers down.
