FORD EXPEDITION BATTERY PROBLEM

1999 Ford Expedition • 165,000 miles

About fifteen minutes after shutting the car off the running lights "headlights, tail lights, and running board lights flash off and on very rappidly. I went out to check to see if the alarm was going off, and it was not. I turned the auto-dim switch off, and the lights quit flashing, but I could still here the relay or switch clicking off and on "it still drained the battery". The only thing thathas happened to the car recently was my wife slid "snowy streets" into a curb and popped the rear tire, but that was a full day before this started. The gem module was replaced in 2008, so I can not see that being the problem. Nothing will stop the lights from flashing short of starting the car. Locking, unlocking, and even hitting the panic butten and turning it off does nothing.
