1999 Dodge Ram • 155,000 miles

Truck was running well, filled the tank, drove home parked with nose up hill, will not restart, no spark at coil, replaced coil, nothing, replaced cam position sensor and crank position sensor, nothing, replaced pcm, still cranks and no start, traced all wiring from key out, nothing, repluged all 3 sensors replaced and it started, would not go above idle, attaced fuel pressure gauge no start again, replaced fuel pump, nothing, it now has pressure and does not bleed down, 1999 dodge ram 1500, 5.2

Did you put the old pcm back? It most likely was not the issue. Was it new? Was it re flashed?

Just updating. Replaced the TPS, ran good at idle and good over 2000 RPM. Drove around the block, shut it off and it will not restart.

The truck ran better with the old pcm so I pulled out the new and replaced with the old. It has not been re flashed.
