Engine light coming of and speedo stops working
Diahatsu siroin 1.2 speedo stops working and engine light comes on

When speedometer fail, the check Engine Lamp would be triggerred due to the Vehicle Speed Sensor circuit malfunctioning.
Get the VSS checked.
