what is causing my car to smoke

My 99 chrysler only smokes when it idles for about 10 min

Does it lose oil? Or coolant?

It loses oil about a quort a month but no antifreeze

You most likely have one or more of the following:
1: Bad rings.
2: Bad valve stems seals.
3: Blown head gasket between combustion chamber and oil galleries.
4: Cracked head.

Pull the coil wire and crank the engine. Can you hear a hissing sound from the valve cover area?
