I have a 1999 Chrysler Cirrus 2.5L in which I need to replace the distributor cap & rotor. I'm using the Haynes Repair Manual pertaining to my car as a reference. In the book, one of the removal steps says transaxle fluid dipstick tube needs to be removed

I have a check engine light with a code that says 6th cylinder is miss fireing. The distributor cap/ rotor I beleive is one of the 7-8 possible items or procedures that needs to be performed.

There are two screws on opposite sides of the cap that need to be removed. The rotor just slides on and off the distributor shaft.
