Diesel motor, runs good while driving will loose power and sometimes run wide open
1999 diesel motor idles good, starts easy but while driving will loose power sometimes and then sometimes will run wide open and you have to cut it off and start over. Any hints

turbo could be leaking internally causing the run away.
is there any codes in the system??
