1999 Chevrolet Truck truck won't start

My truck has an electrical short, causing my plugs to miss, I can also see plug wires lighting up, now it won't start!

Scan for codes and check for vacuum leaks especially under tbi unit. Check fuel pressure as well with a gauge auto parts rent it. 9-11 psi

Sorry fuel pressure 60-66 psi also that year may have the old style connection and new fuel pump has about a foot of harness that has to be replaced if it is.
