My 99 tracker shut off while driving down the road, what would cause this to happen?
It has a 2.0 suzuki motor, fuel pump still works, has spark, could the timing belt/chain have broke to cause this, and it still turns over but wont start

scan for codes and check fuel pressure first.

how do you check the fuel pressure and when i hook a computer up no codes show up

se if you have a blown fuse for computer problem and check computer to another vehicle tomake sure it will work. you need afuelpressure gauge to check pressure. some auto parts store srent them out. if no hook up on fuel rail then you will need to hook up a bypass for it.
