I just bought a battery, however I lost power while I was riding and now when I try to start the truck the power fails and there is a clicking noise.

I can talk to you about the basics.

Make sure the battery has a full charge. Make battery connections are all good, no voltage drops. Make sure charging system is ok and charging.

If starter motor won't crank, check voltage circuits at the starter. Should be two hot terminals, one is hot all the time, the other goes hot with the key in the crank position. Any testing at the starter make sure tranny is in park or neutral and the parking brake is set.

I didn't notice if your security system had any control on the starter motor.
