1999 Chevrolet Silverado Repair Question

Chevrolet Silverado Fuse Problem
My rear driverside taillight does not work. Checked an replaced bulb. Still does not work but the turn and signal light does work. Any idea. According to the book the fuse works all the taillight.

check for power to the socket.
start there, if there is, you have a bad socket, if not, then there is a wiring issue
