Idk really I guess I'm, wondering is it okay that my top rad hose is getting rock hard and, is possible that this head gasket stuff I put in my cooling system is working?

It is possible that it's working, but the rock hard top hose would indicate to me that the thermostat is either clogged up by the head gasket treatment or is stuck shut.
