I have a 1999 cad SLS, some of the windows work with their controls, some I have to use the other control from another window to make them work. Also my cd player will not work and my clock runs, but you cannot set the time correctly. Radio works. Locks inside stopped also. They work with my remote though.

GM has a 100 percent failure rate with their cd players' laser assemblies. I am not allowed to buy parts or radio service manuals from GM after 1993 and Ford after 1997. They want you tied to their very expensive repair shops and dealers. It's that type of business practices that keeps them profitable. I've only found five bad cd laser assemblies on Chrysler products out of over 2,000 I've worked on. Four of those were radios built by Alpine.

For your locks and windows, start by pulling the rubber boot back to check for frayed or broken wires between the driver's door hinges. A potential clue is if the symptoms change when the door is open.

U will have to start with the l/f window switch then address the other switchs as needed. As long as the windows oper things are ok in the motor and regulator. Each switch u will have a click when operating it each way. U need to check all the fuses. Make sure the body fuse is good sometimes a coin sneaks into the lighter. If all is good. Check the switchs for sticking contacts. If switchs are good replace the relay
