Alternator

I am no mechanic but have replaced alternators, generators, water pumps, starters, etc. on other cars I've owned. How much expertise would be required to replace the alternator on this vehicle? Its all part of the serpentine belt assembly, and I am definitely not qualified to replace that, but if I could loosen tension on the belt, replace the alternator and then retighten the belt, I could do that. Any advice?

Installing a belt would be the very least of the obstacles you would encounter on that job.
