WHY DO I HAVE WHITE SMOKE COMING OUT THE TAILPIPES IN MY WHEN I FIRST START ENGINE?

1999 Cadillac Deville • 185,000 miles

White smoke out the tailpipes when I first start the engine when it's cold. The engine jumps when I take off.

White smoke out of the tailpipe is an indication of coolant burning in the cylinders-you sure its not blue mix w/white an dose it disappear when the engine is at operating temperature

Yes it disappears but is it the head gasket or something else?

To find out if its the headgasket have it chemically tested could also be the valve seals/guides/stems if its blue in color-
