Do I have a bad ground? Or a bad alternator?

I replaced my alternator and now my headlights and interior lights are flashing and my fuse on my amp to my stereo blew. Could it be my ground on my alternator is it just a bad alternator? It doesnt have the problem unless the car is started so I dont think it is my battery

It sounds like your security system is activated? Do you have a fob to dis arm it?

I have a remote to it but it doesn't work and I have to manually lock my doors

You may have to go to an alarm repair center for them to inspect the system and determine the failure.

I also noticed tonight that when I turn on the AC and when the rpm s are higher they don't flicker idk if that would make a difference on the diagnosis
