1999 Audi A3 Repair Question

My window wont go up on my car, when i press the button it makes the normal noise and the window slightly lifts about 1cm. Iv took the door panel off and sprayed some stuff on it and tried to pull it up but no luck, Any ideas?
It seems like it is jammed on something but i have tried pulling it up but it wont move. Its on the tracks fine aswell

Sounds as if the regulator has failed, you will have to pull the trim and inspect this.
