Recently my car was transported across country and when it got to the final destination the check engine light was on. This car was flat bedded. The codes were O2 bank 1 P0131 I think. We had a half a tank of gas when it left home in NY (have photos)and it disappeared when it got to CA, (empty tank), says the transport guys. If the gas was taken out and then driven. Would that cause a check engine code? The vehicle had 5 extra fives, which seems alot when you flatbed them.
Any insight into this would help.
Thanks,
Tom

Someone apparently drove the vehicle more than on and off the truck. The code could be a lean condition, bad 0/2 sensor, wiring problem or bad PCM. I would have it cleared and drive it to see if it comes back again.
