1998 Volvo S70 Repair Question

Volvo S70 Trunk Problem
My trunk will not ajar open with the release latch or inserting the key in the lock latch of the rear truck lid. I hear the motor but the trunk lid is still jammed.What can I do to release my jammed trunk lid?
