Car won't start wiv key everything lights up on dash but wont start
I have a mark 3 golf gti and it won't start when i put the key in all lights on dash light up but won't start??

Do you have a multimeter to do some testing?

Common problems for "no cranks" on the A3 VWs:
- Ignition switch
- alarm module
- starter
While holding the key in the "crank" position, gently lever the key
up, down, left & right.
If the Ignition switch is the cause of the "no crank", you can
sometimes still get them to make contact by applying pressure to
the key.
As mentioned by saturntech9... further testing requires a multimeter
or a test light.
