Toyota Landcruiser Compression Problem
I'm a missionary mechanic working in Honduras working on a fleet of Toyota Landcruisers. The reason I say this is, is these machines are BEAT on a daily basis, and things that would normally be unthinkable, happen. My question is regarding a 98' straight 6 diesel. It has a slight knocking/ticking. All the time, accelerating and decelerating. Under load and idling. From start-up to shut down. It has good compression. I thought it might be a really dirty injector causing some real bad post-detonation. But it's to consistent. If you can think of anything let me know. Thanks!
