1998 Toyota Camry Repair Question
Toyota Camry Brake pedal Problem
You had to pump the pedal to work the pistons out of the front calipers to contact the pads. At any time did you run the brake pedal all the way to the floor? Did you pedal-bleed with a helper, and push the pedal all the way down? Doing that can damage the seals in the master cylinder on the crud and corrosion that build up in the lower parts of the bores where they don't normally travel.
Did the reservoir run empty? If so, there can be air anywhere in the lines. You didn't mention that you replaced the calipers. If that is correct, why did you bleed the system?
